Last Hour Deal, Why?

The Republicans forced a last-hour deal to fund the government in the last hours before the shutdown of the U.S. economy. Louser Donald Trump lost again. He had demanded his congressional Republicans sycophants to shout down the U.S. government; however, a bi-partisan group of adults within the U.S. Congress said no. Hence, Congress passed the funding bill. Now, children will be able to eat, childcare providers will be able to keep their doors open, the military and federal workers will be paid, and many other vital services will move forward. Message to the American people, every vote counts. As we approach the 2024 election, please understand that it really matters who we put in the seats in the Whitehouse and in Congress.

The American public is disgusted and dismayed with both the Democratic and Republican parties. What I want Americans of all parties to know is, we don’t have a professional or moral equivalency here. We have several members of the Republican party in Congress who act like silly little children. In every session of Congress, they spend their time grandstanding and performing, not governing.

I have voted in every election since I was eighteen years old. I have never seen so many low-IQ congressmen/Women since I began to participate in the electoral process. The way many of these child-like politicians proforma in Congress is an embarrassment to the nation. Most times it is difficult to determine what geopolitical interest they really support. One thing is for sure, their vote indicates that they are supporting entities that are clearly un-American.

I am not making a political statement, it is a serious statement, and the American people need serious elected officials representing their interests and work to increase the quality of life for all Americans.

There was a bipartisan 88-9 vote in the U.S. Senate. This came just hours before a midnight deadline. Earlier in the day, the U.S. House voted 335-91 for the stop-gap budget. Several Republicans voted to exclude funding for Ukraine in the Budget. I am in all regards an anti-war American; however, I do believe that the U.S. must continue to support Ukraine’s people’s fight for their democracy.

Some American people must WAKE UP and recognize that many members of the U.S. House Republicans are clearly controlled by a “shadow leader” who was not elected by the American people. NO One elected this individual who is only interested in his own narrow survival; the American people BE DAMNED.

In closing, our political leaders must realize that voting against funding Ukraine’s war efforts is the same as voting for Russia to continue the mass killing of innocent people. Consequently, if you don’t VOTE in the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election, you are voting for the other! Quite frankly, you giving a vote to someone that will not have your best interest at heart. You are giving your power away. The VOTE makes us all equal – One person, One Vote…
