Peace Must Start Now

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, no friend of President Biden, “says an Israeli airstrike unintentionally hit aid workers in Gaza on Monday.” Seven workers with the humanitarian group World Central Kitchen died in the Israeli attack. “The group says the strike hit the convoy after it delivered more than a hundred tons of food.”

The Monday killing of the humanitarian group World Central Kitchen, as horrific as they are, is just a microcosm of what innocent Gazan citizens live or die through daily. The killing of members of the humanitarian group World Central Kitchen must be investigated by an independent body and unfettered accountability must follow their examination of facts.

Politically speaking, every action made, and orders given by Benjamin Netanyahu during the ongoing Israeli/Gaza conflict has advantaged Trump’s 2024 election bid. A frenemy, a person who is or pretends to be a friend but who is also in some ways an enemy or rival, is not what President Biden needs to bring an end to this deadly Middle East conflict.

I believe that the American people know President Biden’s heart regarding the overall killings of the innocent; however, he is being judged by his overall reactions to those killings. Since President Biden doesn’t have a true partner for PEACE to end the Middle East conflict, he has to change his approach. The first thing that President Biden should do is to put restrictions on the use of U.S. weapons being used in Gaza. Second, he must return funding to the U.N. Relief and Works Agency, known as UNRWA, whose role in providing food, water, medicine, and shelter in the Gaza Strip is a critical lifeline for civilians. Third,

Israel alleges that 12 UNRW workers participated in the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks.  are so far just allegations. Israel accused 12 UNRWA staffers out of a total of roughly 13,000 staffers in Gaza. President Biden must return funding to UNRWA and 12,088 UNRWA staffers to go back to supporting the suffering innocent victims in Gaza.

The gigantic number of senseless deaths, the massive destruction of GAZA’s infrastructure, and the pending starvation of thousands of Gazans in the conflict between Israel and Gaza have broken the hearts of traumatized minds of people worldwide. I want to be clear; I am a lover of PEACE and tranquility for all people in every nation. If you want to know which side I am on, well, I am on the Side of Humanity.

I support global peace and personal security for all of humanity; consequently, I will support anyone who supports humanity with their Words and their Deeds. It is an accepted fact that every country and all people in the world have a right to defend themselves. However, there is a central question that must be asked and must be answered. Specifically, when do nations’ or individuals’ actions cross over from proportionate legitimate defense to genocidal disproportionality? The Global Family is crying out and literally demanding a permanent cease-fire and PEACE now.
