I Trust Hillary Rodham Clinton

I listened to President Barack Obama speech today, July 1, 2016, in which he gave a “full thought” endorsement of Hilary Rodon Clinton to become the next President of the United States. After listening to OUR President, I thought about an article that I wrote on November 11, 2015 and decided to re-post. Although our words are somewhat different, our core message is the same. This demonstrates that both the President and I are first and foremost, looking out for the best interest of the United States and ALL its’ people.

This is a re-post from one posted November 11, 2015. I

I Trust Hillary Rodham Clinton to be the next president of the United States of America, and this is why. Hilary is a practicing lawyer and she was a law professor. Hilary served five terms as First Lady of Arkansas; she served two terms as First Lady of the United States of America; served as a United States Senator from New York from January 3, 2001 to January 21, 2009; she served as U.S. Secretary of State, and she is a long-term human rights activist and human services volunteer.

There is absolutely no comparison between Hilary Clinton’s body of political, legal, and humanitarian work and that of any of her opponents on either side of the aisle; therefore, she will be elected as Madam President in 2016.

I see Hillary Rodham Clinton as a person of high principles and I know that she loves and respect this nation and its laws. She has had to negotiate major foreign policies issues with world leaders and has put in millions of miles traveling the globe representing the interest of United States.

Although I respect Hillary Rodham Clinton for all the work she has done for this country, I disagree with her on several major issues related to our foreign policy regarding Africa and the Middle East. However, moving forward, every decision that she makes must start with and end with what’s good for the people of the United States of America.

The process of running for President is an immoral, wicked, tricky, and vicious process. The fact is, contrary to popular belief; the average Americans have virtually no impact on policymaking. How will Hillary Rodham Clinton deal with the wealthiest 1%, consisting of rich individuals and corporations who are the controllers of the interest groups that dominates the policymaking process?

When Hilary Clinton becomes President, she will not only need the cooperation of the Senate and House members, she will need the assistance of Governors, State Legislators, Mayors, City Council members, and other lawmakers at the state level to move her agenda forward. She and her organization must keep a keen eye on organizations like the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).

Just like card the game “Three-card Monte”, while everyone is paying attention to the Presidential race, ALEC, a nonprofit organization, is using the people’s money to drafts and distributes model legislation designed to help conservative candidates sway the outcome of local elections. “ALEC has produced model bills on a broad range of issues, such as reducing corporate regulation and taxation, combating illegal immigration, loosening environmental regulations, tightening voter identification rules, weakening labor unions and promoting gun rights.”

Conservative politicians that are supported and controlled by the likes of ALEC and its’ corporate backers have goals that are seldom in line with those of the general public. The alliance of big money and the narrow, selfish interests that it represents has been used to silence the voices of the vast majority of the American people.

Hillary Rodham Clinton will become the United States 45 President on Tuesday, November 8, 2016., I will trust that Madam President Clinton will remember where she came from and bring with her a diverse group of new “Thought Leaders” with a 21st-century people-driven world view. The challenges that she will face and the decisions that she makes must always adhere to the desires and interest of the 99% of U. S. citizens first and foremost.
