ALEC UNMASKED II

Eve Americans need to know that the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and Friends are using Diabolical Creepy Moves to bring down our Democratic way of life.  ALEC describes itself as the largest membership association of state legislators; however, over 98% of its revenue comes from corporations and corporate foundations. ALEC is not just a lobby or a front group; it is much more powerful than that.

There is a CONTINUED REVELATION about ALEC, a non-profit 501c3 organization that  launder tax exempted resources to create a “bill mill for special interest cookie-cutter legislation”. Their overall goal is to help corporations “defeat consumers seeking justice in the courts and to facilitate false narratives to push for massive privatization of public entities.

Once the American people read the information below and formularize themselves as to what ALEC is all about, they will look at THEIR politicians in a whole new light. It is a known fact that as soon as politicians are elected many of them become the puppets of the central bankers, corporate executives, wealthy individuals that support ALEC.

Fact: Corporations use ALEC, a tax exempted organization, to manipulate policies and promote model (packaged) legislation for mostly elected officials on the state level. ALEC use local officials to initiate proposed changes to worker’s compensation laws that would make it harder for workers to get compensation for injury and narrow their medical and legal options.

The resolution promotes legislation to limit which treatments, drugs, medical costs, and doctors are legally allowed through worker’s compensation programs. Legislators across the nation introduce similar or identical bills designed to boost corporate power and profits, reduce worker’s rights, limit corporate accountability, or restricted voting rights.

The very legislation passed into law in your state house was probably written for your state lawmaker by corporate lobbyists working through the American Legislative Exchange Council. ALEC’s produced policies include “anti-worker bills including attacks on organized labor, attacks on higher wages, and efforts to limit benefits for workers”.

Other ALEC written Legislation turned Resolution Include: Retain State Authority over Coal Ash as Non-Hazardous Waste through its extensive alumni network of former state legislators now serving in higher office NRA and ALEC. They have pushed the no-paperwork-required private reseller loophole that accounts for 40% of all gun sales. The expansion of concealed carry laws and the push for unrestricted access to assault weapons and high-capacity magazines –

ALEC is a one-stop shop for corporations looking to identify friendly state legislators and work with them to get special-interest legislation introduced. Their modeled legislation ensures that taxes that collected by the governments from the middle and low-income people are used to benefit the elite. It’s a win-win for corporations, their lobbyists, and right-wing legislators. But the big losers are citizens whose rights and interests are sold off by elected officials to the highest bidder.

We the people must never allow dollars from our taxes to be used to support any corporation or Individuals that Support ALEC? ALEC’s major funders include, but are not limited the following: Exxon Mobil, the Scaife family (Allegheny Foundation and the Scaife Family Foundation), the Coors family (Castle Rock Foundation), Charles Koch (Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation and the Claude R. Lambe Charitable Foundation), the Bradley family (The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation) and the Olin family (John M. Olin Foundation). These organizations consistently finance right-wing think tanks and political groups.

Representatives on ALEC’s board also include major corporations such as Altria, AT&T, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Koch Industries, PhRMA, Peabody Energy, and State Farm. These foreign and domestic companies represent just a fraction of ALEC’s approximately three hundred corporate partners.

ALEC provides state legislators wish lists of model legislations to benefit their bottom line. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER and knowledge of ALEC will help Americans identify ALEC controlled/corrupted politicians IN THEIR STATE and work to remove them from office. Most importantly, American must understand that ALEC’s agenda extends into almost all areas and levels of law.

ALEC-modeled bills undermine environmental regulations and deny climate change; support school privatization; undercut health care reform; defund unions and limit their political influence; restrain legislatures’ abilities to raise revenue through taxes; mandate strict election laws that disenfranchise voters; increase incarceration to benefit the private prison industry, among many other issues. Dastardly deeds committed in secrecy have now come to light.

Now we know exactly how our lives are being negatively affected by ALEC controlled Private Corporate Interests. Therefore, we must use our knowledge to protect our Democracy from thieves working in the shadows in our so-called free society. We must all understand that as we go about our daily lives and when we sleep and night, ALEC and partners are working to “Plan the American people’s 2016 Agenda.
